Dawn Wilcox’s passion for real estate began long before she earned her license. Born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, and raised in Georgia from the age of five, Dawn understands firsthand what it means to search for — and ultimately find — a place to call home. After several moves throughout her childhood, her family finally settled in Georgia, where deep roots were established and lasting relationships were formed.
Raised in a family where real estate was more than a career, Dawn was inspired by watching her mother build a respected reputation within the industry. She saw the dedication, long hours, and commitment required to truly serve clients well — and she also witnessed the lasting impact of helping families achieve their homeownership dreams. That example shaped her own professional standards and work ethic.
While cheering for the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets during high school, Dawn also worked as an administrative assistant for a medical software company, developing strong organizational and technology skills that continue to benefit her clients today. Focused and driven, she pursued her real estate license shortly after graduation through the Georgia Real Estate Commission and purchased her first home at just 20 years old — a milestone that deepened her understanding of the buying process from both a professional and personal perspective.
Dawn married her childhood sweetheart in 2008, and together they are raising their three daughters in Cherokee County, Georgia — the community they proudly call home. As a working mother deeply invested in her community, Dawn understands the importance of balancing family, finances, and long-term goals when making real estate decisions.
