About Debi

Originally from upstate New York, Debi Benson earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Oswego State University. Debi’s fondness for warm weather, palm trees and beaches drove her to move to Florida. In 1997, Debi relocated to West Palm Beach, where she attained her real estate license in 1999 and the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation in 2004. Debi soon found a sense of fulfillment in helping others, as well as herself, to purchase and sell real estate.

In 2004, Debi was looking to acquire some investment property. On the advice of a very dear friend and colleague, she ventured over to a quaint little area on the west coast of Florida and immediately noted the tranquility and serenity it had to offer—as well as the dolphins jumping in the aqua blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Debi immediately saw the potential of this area, not only in terms of a more calm and peaceful lifestyle, but also the promise for growth.

Within a short time, Debi relocated to Englewood, Florida, and not only purchased investment property for herself, but also began helping others fulfill their dreams of buying and selling on the Cape Haze Peninsula.

In 2006, Debi obtained her broker’s license and soon thereafter opened her own brokerage with a partner. In 2010, she chose to sell her interest in the brokerage, and after much thought and consideration joined Michael Saunders & Company. As with life comes change, this change has proven to be one of the best decisions from both a personal and professional standpoint. This decision has resulted in an enhanced quality of life, as well as the opportunity to align herself professionally with one of the most successful and reputable real estate firms known both nationally and worldwide
