With more than twelve years of experience, Deborah has guided discerning buyers and sellers in the D.C. Metro region, earning a reputation for integrity, insight, and consistent multi-million dollar success. Her nuanced understanding of the market, steadfast dedication to clients, and expansive personal and professional network set her apart.
Trusted by entrepreneurs, physicians, senior government officials, prominent business leaders, and professional athletes, she navigates each transaction with discretion and personal care.
Before her real estate career, Deborah distinguished herself in the private sector advising American companies on international ventures and held senior roles in the United States Senate, including as a Professional Staff Member on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and as a Senior Policy Advisor.
Her extensive experience drafting and overseeing the passage of federal legislation - along with her experience at the highest levels of government - have honed her negotiation skills and global perspective.
For many years, Deborah has been a Board Member on the Virginia Board of Medicine by gubernatorial appointment, and also serves on its Executive Committee.
She has had longstanding involvement in humanitarian projects - - including many years as the Director of Government Affairs for a major international relief organization.

Deborah has a Master’s degree in International Relations from Georgetown University, and is fluent in English and Spanish. René and Deborah have raised five children in Northern Virginia.
