Deirdre Curran

Having served the real estate needs of homebuyers and sellers in the Sarasota area since 1985, Dede Curran offers her clients an extraordinary level of customer care to complement her in-depth market knowledge.

The daughter of an Air Force pilot, Dede was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but found herself relocating to places around the country and throughout Europe to accommodate her father’s occupation. This background helped Dede understand the unique characteristics and charms of differing communities and the variety of lifestyle options that appeal to varying tastes. Naturally, she transitioned these experiences to her career as a real estate professional after finally settling in Sarasota in 1977. Dede joined Michael Saunders & Company in 1986. Today, she is a proven specialist in the marketing and sales of waterfront properties and those located West of the Trail.

A proud part of her community who strongly believes in giving back, Dede is actively involved in numerous civic activities, which include past board membership with The Florida Center for Child Development and 20 years of service as a deliverer with Meals on Wheels. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, running, reading, and cooking
