Del V. Tiegs
Born in Miami, Florida Mr. Tiegs holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. He also took additional studies toward an MBA and received a graduate level certificate in Management Information Systems.
Mr. Tiegs worked at Florida Power & Light Co. (FPL) from 1978 - 1991 in several different areas (Accounting, Programming, Financial and Regulatory) for the company. Mr. Tiegs participated in several large projects that saved the company and customers tens of millions of dollars and were highlighted by the Japanese who were judging FPL for the prestigious International Deming Award (Quality Improvement Award). FPL became the 1st company in the world outside of Japan to win this Award.
From 1980 - 1989 Mr. Tiegs owned and managed an Automotive Restoration business that repaired and painted classic’s and high end vehicles (ie. Rolls Royce, Roadrunner Superbird’s, Shelby Cobra, Boss Mustangs, GT 40 Kit cars etc.)
Mr. Tiegs from 1991 - 1997 designed and received many international patents in the automotive industry. He then started a manufacturing company that began producing and marketing these products Worldwide. As President, Mr. Tiegs took the company International, overseeing marketing, sales, and the planning of over a dozen International and National Trade Shows annually. Many of their products were purchased by most every major C.V. Axle Rebuilder and Original Equipment Manufacturers in the World. Their C.V. Axle Joint Puller changed the industry, for example, with just one of the largest rebuilders in the World being able to change 2 circus tents full of workers swinging hammers to remove the joint from the axle, to 6 of his company’s machines running 24/7. This reduced injuries in that area almost completely, and reduced damaged parts and costs throughout the industry by almost half. Many other tools they manufactured helped in solving many industry problems.
Mr. Tiegs created sister companies, one that was a mail order company that packaged kits for installers and direct sold until a reliable Distributor in the area could take over. He created a company that became one of the largest C.V. Boot/Axle Labs in the World. We tested and retained information on most every manufacturer of those products throughout the World. This information was used to know and understand the market and competition, and how to improve the quality of our own products. Most of our customers were large Original Equipment Manufacturers, OEM’s.
In addition, Mr. Tiegs sells Commercial and Residential Real Estate 1987 - 2016 predominately to large investors in Florida as a Broker/Realtor. He has sold multi-million $ commercial and residential projects, sometimes working them from inception to building completion for his clients. Mr. Tiegs has sold or purchased properties for himself or clients throughout the United States, from Miami to Orlando, Tampa, Florida Pan Handle, Chicago, San Francisco Area and other parts of the Country. During this period, Mr. Tiegs has purchased local commercial properties for his own investment. The bottom line, Mr. Tiegs believes in listening to customer’s needs and problems to help give the customer the highest quality and most cost effective Investments possible to help satisfy their needs. Mr. Tiegs has teamed up with 2 partners, one in New York (Connie Lu) and San Francisco Bay Area (Maria Chen) to help Chinese and other foreign clients find Quality Investments in the United States and throughout the World.
