Well, what can I say about my highly qualified real estate professional Mrs. Dena Greenawalt...
I have known, worked with her and for her over the years since 1995, and have throughly enjoyed our personal and professional relationship.

At the end of June of 2022, I found out I needed to move out of a rental home I'd been living in for four years and knew I had to scramble to get help to find a home to purchase. I reached out to Dena and she immediately got me in touch with a lender and started pulling comps and open house options to meet my needs. I had recently moved in my 77 year old mother with dementia and needed a large, one-story home for better access for her care.

Dena found multiple properties for us to start touring while I worked to get a loan setup and started to pack and coordinate the million things you have to do in these situations. We initially found a great home and made an offer, but the owners wanted a long post-possession that didn't work for our timeline so we backed out. Then on July 4th, at the first open house of my weekend search I found the "really" perfect home, spacious, all the features we wanted (pool, solar, low HOA fees, nice area, etc.) and I immediately texted her to make an offer before more people showed up to foil my plans.

Even though Dena was out of town that holiday weekend on vacation with her family, she dropped everything to pull together what was needed to get the process started. Within a few hours we had our answer of an initial acceptance so we let the rabbit go and the greyhounds started chasing it around the "track of home buying" at a fever pitch!

Dena began getting me additional resources (movers, cleaners, packing, etc.) and set up the inspection to see if we had a winner on our hands. The inspection had surprisingly few issues, considering it's a 17 year old home and she set off to find vendors to address the issues that required repairs and worked to help finalize my mortgage, a thousand CVS receipts worth of paperwork, signatures and kept me in the loop at every turn. Her team also stepped in when needed and I felt well informed and knew what was going on at each stage.

As the final paperwork was signed and we closed on July 28 (24 DAYS!!!), I thanked her, but couldn't rest (or celebrate) yet, as I continued to pack, schedule all of the service changes, address swaps and the other thousand things you have to do to buy a home during the summer in Arizona. (115° in the shade)

As we reach the end of my post possession and I plan the walk through and key ceremony on August 9th, I think back to the 27 years I've know Dena, not knowing that we'd come together one day to deal with all this, but am very glad that I chose her as a friend, realtor, and Re/Max Alliance Group to help me buy my forever home and I will highly recommend her and the company's services to all my friend and coworkers, and strangers that may read this review.

The first thing on my To-Do List after moving is to share with you what our experience was like while working with Dena. FROM THE BEGINNING: We didn't know any realtors for first time home buying so I went online and did my research to find a reputable realtor with high positive feedback. Dena's name was #1 on my list, so I called her first with questions. She picked up my call immediately and thoroughly answered all my questions. After our initial phone conversation, I knew she's the one and I don't have to look further for another realtor. HOUSE HUNTING: We have very specific needs (in terms of location, floor plans, feng shui positions, etc.). We communicated our needs with Dena. She understood very well of what we like and don't like. After few months of searching, Dena found the perfect house that suits all of our needs.
