About Denise

Denise was born and raised in San Mateo County and has called Millbrae her home for the last 36 years. She is married to a local business owner and has two grown children. Before she entered the real estate industry, Denise was a clerk/cashier for the San Mateo County Treasurer/Tax Collector’s Office for several years. She was highly valued for her customer service skills.

Denise earned her real estate license in 1997. She then joined the Marshall Realty team and is now a Realtor with Omarshall, Inc. She formed a partnership with her long-time friend, Anne Oliva. Denise is also an appointed Notary Public for the State of California. This special status has proven very valuable to current and former clients.

Denise is actively involved in SAMCAR. She has been a member of Special Events Committee for nine years, serving as Co-Chair for two years. The Special Event Committee raises money for the SAMCAR Foundation which focuses its charitable efforts on benefiting organizations and programs that strive to make San Mateo County a more livable, affordable, and thriving community. She has served on the Cultural Diversity Committee and the RSVP Committee and is currently planning the 2012 RSVP Program as Area Coordinator.

Denise is a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors. She was among the first graduating class of the Bay Area Realtor Leadership Academy (BARLA)—a ten-month course on developing leadership skills. Denise is also a Notary.

She keeps her real-estate knowledge sharp by attending seminars and workshops. She has completed coursework in disclosures, sales techniques, listing strategies, ethics, and business etiquette.
