Denise relocated to North Carolina from Alabama in 1978 after graduating from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) with a degree in Office Management. She worked as a paralegal for 22 years before becoming a REALTOR in 2004. It’s not surprising that she took this career turn as her father was a Builder/Developer and her mother had been a Real Estate Broker as well so she really grew up around Real Estate.
As a long time Johnston County resident, Denise works with Buyers and Sellers throughout Johnston County, and the Triangle area. She loves working with First Time Home Buyers as they go through the exciting process of accomplishing their goal of buying that first home. She also specializes in working with Seniors to meet their needs of moving close to their children, downsizing, etc. Says Denise, “I try to stay in tune with my clients’ needs and wants and am always very responsive to their questions and concerns”.
Denise also holds several real estate designations including the SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designation specializing in meeting the unique Real Estate needs of Seniors, ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative) and GREEN (Energy Efficiency and Sustainablility). She strongly promotes and encourages homes featuring Universal Design. She feels that homes should be built so that all owners will have accessibility throughout their lives and be able to stay in their homes longer.
