From DAY 1, my husband and I experienced nothing but kindhearted professionalism from Denise Thomas. She’s a wealth of information regarding coastal living. Her attention to detail in helping us navigate the process of searching, offer to buy and, purchasing our home gave us a peace of mind while selling a home 200 miles away. If we should ever decide to sell and/or buy in the area again, Denise will certainly be our choice!

Denise listed and sold my family’s house in Hampstead, and I highly recommend her for anyone looking to sell or buy a home in the area. She is the perfect realtor for Hampstead: born and bred there, loves the place, and knows the local real estate market like the back of her hand. Denise is simply fantastic at what she does.

I found Denise because she had recently sold a nearby house, and I was impressed by the job she did. She provided us genuine value-added at every stage in the process. For example, I had a list of repairs I thought needed to be done before listing, but Denise helped me prioritize which were critical and said most were unnecessary given the market. She recommended excellent and economical handymen and cleaners, and I saved thousands of dollars by talking to her early in the process. Denise wrote a fantastic listing description for our house, marketing aspects of it and the neighborhood that maximized interest but which we never would have thought to emphasize. And her advice on staging was terrific: she had a vision for each room and offered detailed suggestions on what to move or hide (important, since pictures now survive forever on the internet…). The listing photos were outstanding, including aerial shots from a drone that showed potential buyers the house in relation to the Intercoastal. We had multiple offers, and Denise’s advice on which offers to prioritize and how to counter added thousands to the eventual sale price. I was extremely impressed by Denise’s ability to anticipate other realtors’ next moves during negotiations: Do not play chess against her!

Finally, Denise was patient and helpful when we had to solve an unanticipated and frustrating issue with the title that delayed the closing for weeks. When things went awry, Denise kept me calm and masterfully handled the situation. Once again, she correctly anticipated how the buyers would react and what their agent would ask for when we had to amend the contract. Her intuition was spot-on, and her advice was invaluable during this stage.

It was a pleasure to work with Denise: she is smart, level-headed, and a top-notch realtor. I have worked with several realtors in multiple states over the years, and this was by far the best (and most lucrative) experience I have had. I highly recommend working with her if you are looking to sell or buy in the Hampstead area.

I am so thankful that Denise reached out to me!! She knew “me” and what I had in mind within minutes. Denise was on top of the entire process and so knowledgeable about this area. I have leaned on her for other advice about who or where for other projects. She has been a one stop shop and not just an agent, a new friend! You should contact her if you are considering rentals, buying or selling a home. I can’t express how much she did for me while buying my home, above and beyond, but she is 100% , top-notch at what she does and you will be in the best hands!

We are not sure there is enough space here to write how we feel about Denise Thomas. We were looking to buy a home in NC for a year. We were very discouraged as we had a house to sell in NY and the closing time is much longer in NY than NC. Finally we found Denise. From our first conversation with her we knew she could get this done. She figured out how to make this happen and showed us the perfect home of our dreams. She was always available to show homes,answer all questions and be there every step of the way. If anyone is looking for that perfect realtor, look no further,its Denise Thomas.

I was referred to Denise by my sister who had the pleasure of working with her last year to find and purchase her home in Rocky Point/Hampstead. I will be forever grateful and thankful for all of the time and effort Denise devoted to helping me find my first home! Living in California made it difficult to see things for myself, and with the current speed & low volume of the market, it was very hard to get an offer accepted! Denise went out of her way to show me as many homes as possible, and answered any question I could think of! I was so blessed to have her on my home search team! I ended up buying a home in Holly Ridge that Denise scouted out for me and went to see in my absence (she took a wonderful, detailed video and we exchanged many calls - she worked so efficiently on my behalf that my offer was accepted the same day the house went on the market!). I was in NC for only two days and asked my first realtor to show me multiple properties. She showed me one. The second realtor also only showed me one terrible property. I was disillusioned but called Denise not expecting much however she was absolutely wonderful. She showed many many properties in one day even showed me where the beach was. She was on time, very professional, very informative pointing out pros and cons. I can’t believe i found the perfect home in one day especially with so much to choose from. She did the paperwork promptly and she is still helping me as i ask her questions that I’m unsure of being from New York. This is the third house i ever bought and NEVER had I had such a pleasant, carefree experience finding a home. I can keep going on but she’s just a wonderful professional woman who i will highly recommend to anyone moving down. Thanks for a great experience!

Denise was patient and available any time to show us houses. She took us to see SO many homes and really wanted to make sure we got the home of our dreams. AND WE DID! She was professional and looked out for our interests the whole time. She is also extremely knowledgeable about many aspects of her business from construction materials to proper paperwork and details of closing. I really can’t say enough good things about Denise and would absolutely recommend her to anyone thinking of buying or selling a home.

Recently, my husband and I had the privilege and pleasure of working with Denise and Mike acquiring our dream home. Initially walking through the home I was crushed when Denise told me there was already an accepted offer. Of course, I sadly thought to myself; however, Denise and Mike wanted to entertain the idea of putting in a backup offer. It took some convincing but they were able to educate my husband and I on the power and possibility of doing a backup offer. Long story short, the dream came true and our offer came into play. We are now living in our beautiful new home because of the consummate professionalism, dedication and hard work Denise and Mike put forth. We looked at several houses, never to find the one we ended up in and it's all because of the dynamic team that they are. We can't thank you enough for everything you did. Anyone would be lucky to have this realestate team working for them!!

I mean who comes to the rescue and helps you get to closing on time after you have a tire blow out and your dog is in the car with you??? It wasn't the tow truck driver, it wasn't my husband(he was working), a friend or taxi, it was Denise and Mike. We are in our forever home and you are our forever team!!

She was also a great help during the closing period...acting like a project manager to make sure I did what I needed to do on time.

We bought a house while living in Japan. We never physically saw the house, the neighborhood, the community, the town, the roads or any of the local shops or restaurants. We put all of our trust and confidence in Denise.

Why?

Because from day one she gave us her word that she had our interests in mind and would be honest and transparent with us, even if the truth was uncomfortable.

There were highs and lows. There were moments where a house we liked was on the market and we could not compete with the cash offers or the time difference. Despite the adversity, Denise kept us in high spirits. She was born and raised in the area, and worked tirelessly to find us a property that matched what we needed for our growing family.
