About Dennis

Thurston developed a passion for real estate at a young age when traveling with his parents to view potential homes for their family. It was not until after college that he fully realized his passion. From viewing homes to design and staging, he loves being able to take a house and help turn it into a beautiful home for families to enjoy and create memories.

There were a couple of scenarios that resulted in his arrival at ILM. The main one was he took a Facebook quiz of where he should live after college. After four different tries he liked the result of California, so he headed west.... or so he thought. Due to his directional issues and distrust in Google Maps he ended up in North Carolina. At that point he decided he would just stay in ILM. Besides his partner of 6 years was already here so why not. Glad he followed his heart and not Google Maps.

No one should ever go hungry in this town. His favorite restaurants are Freddie's in Kure Beach (best pork chop ever), Cape Fear Seafood Company in Monkey Junction and Port Land Grille in Lumina Station.

There is also nothing like being able to drive out on the beach at North End in Carolina Beach, back up to the ocean and spend the day with friends and family.

It is also nice to be able to relax and enjoy a cold beverage on the pier over the ocean at the Ocean Grill and Tiki Bar in Carolina Beach.
