About Derek

Derek Huetinck began in the homebuilding business at Craftmark Homes during the summers while he was attending law school at American University. After completing his law degree, Derek opted to forgo a legal career began working at Craftmark Homes full time where he remained until co-founding BeaconCrest Homes in 2007. Since 2007, Derek has helped guide BeaconCrest to become one of the D.C. Metro Area’s largest and most successful high end residential builders. What Derek loves most about homebuilding is being able to take clients visions and ideas for their home and turn them into tangible reality.
