Derek Premo

Derek is excited to have returned to Olde Town Brokers. He originally joined the OTB team in 1999 as a sales agent and developed his skills in real estate sales, development and leadership to become the company’s CFO through 2007. Since then, Derek was privileged to serve the students and families of New York City as a Math teacher, Assistant Principal and High School Principal. He rejoined the Olde Town Brokers team in May 2022 to support and accelerate the company’s brand relaunch. He recently joined the sales team as an agent again, coming full circle on his nearly 30 years working relationship with Olde Town Brokers.

As a person that believes that personal growth and education are the key to all of life’s best successes, Derek uses a coaching and mentoring approach when working with his clients. Building understanding of the real estate processes and contract negotiations helps Derek to lead his clients to their next homes all the while building their own ability to make strategic real estate decisions along the way. With an unwavering dedication to making his clients feel successful in their transactions, Derek leads the work with patience, compassion and a cunning eye for details.

When not working with his team at Olde Town Brokers, you’ll likely find Derek walking with his dog Ellen, strength training or working up some of his culinary magic with fresh produce from his backyard garden for family and friends.
