Derek is an entrepreneur, homeowner, and business professional who is always eager to serve the needs of his clients. Derek spent several years in the banking industry as a lender of Personal and Real Estate loans. That experience has served him well as a Real Estate Professional to better advise his clients on different Real Estate loan products. As a result, it gives his clients maximum opportunity for home ownership. Derek has also spent several years as an Insurance Agent operating his own Agency. Just as in lending, this experience has allowed Derek to be a deep resource for his Real Estate clients when advising them.
With almost 20 years as a Real Estate investor, Derek has experienced both the buying and selling side as a consumer. On most of these properties, Derek has made minor and major improvements himself, exposing him to the many challenges of asset management. As a result of this experience, he has witnessed and negotiated home inspections, appraisals, Real Estate contracts, and rental agreements. This gives Derek a unique perspective on the Real Estate industry and extensive experience in the process.
Although no stranger to the Lake area, Derek is a lifelong resident of central Missouri and loves serving his clients state-wide. Derek enjoys home renovations, classic cars, his family and friends, and any time he can spend at or on the Lake. Derek graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
