With more than 60 miles of bike lanes on the roads and almost 70 miles of trails, getting on your bike for a jaunt is both easy and picturesque. The trails are great for an afternoon stroll or longer hike too. Bellingham has long been a gathering place for creatives. Artists from the literary, theater, musical and visual arts make up a vibrant scene that attracts both residents and visitors. Seattle is 90 miles to the south, and Vancouver is about 50 miles to the north, which means those arts and cultural centers are just a drive away as well.
