I wanted to take the time to thank Diane Markus and all of the people who work with her for helping me complete the biggest and most enjoyable purchase of my life so far. This was my first experience in not only in buying a home but this was my first experience with finding out how the process works. The experience was nerve wrecking yet exciting at the same time. Her personal investment in me and hand holding made the process easier. The fact that she took time away from her own family to meet with me and talk to me at whatever hour of the day was never taken for granted. It was the extra effort and utmost cooperation and patience that Diane consistently showed me that made this home purchase possible. One of the proudest moments of my life was when I first said to someone I just bought a house. Now my boys and I have somewhere to call home and I have Diane to thank for that. Diane was a joy to work with. She was extremely professional, kind, and handled all of our conversations with a prompt reply. Selling your house and buying one at the same time can be very nerve-racking and scary. Diane made my husband and I feel like, We could do this! And made us feel comfortable and confident about what the future held for us. She has such a down to earth personality that you instantly feel connected to her when you meet her. She was very much accommodating to our schedule and very flexible when it came to us looking at houses that were of interest to us. I have already referred her to my parents, who are presently looking for their forever home after retirement. I'm completely confident that they are in the right hands. High on our priority list was to get our kids into great schools. We were looking for specific schools in 2 specific suburbs. Diane was very patient with us because after so many years in the city we wanted the right home and we weren't settling. After seeing a couple homes with her she new exactly what we were looking for which was great. She was always straightforward with us. Outstanding broker. She really works for you. There was never a moment that I couldn't reach her. Also she was super accommodating. She got us top dollar for our home within 72 hours of the listing. We had mutilple offers too! We used her again to purchase and she pushed and pushed the Sellers's with numerous comps. We ended up getting a house that was listed for $225k for a low $182k. I happened to find Diane at the open house of the house we ended up buying and feel so lucky to have had our paths cross. We ended up utilizing her to sell our house, as well. It was a stressful time with an extremely fast turnaround needed and Diane and her team made sure everything was seamless.
