Diane Murphy

For decades, Diane has been known throughout the community as an educator, a successful real estate broker, a business owner and an American Studies scholar. Excellence and servant leadership characterize all of her accomplishments. She has sponsored many valuable causes over the years: annual military golf tournaments that provide for the education of the children of wounded warriors; a business sponsor of the historic Mount Vernon, Life with Cancer, the Campagna Center, Carpenter's Shelter, Twig, the Lazarus Ministry (to name a few) and has also served the community as a Board of Trustee Member of the Virginia Diocesan Homes. She is also engaged in many pastoral activities for those in need (spiritual, financial and professional). Throughout her life, she has been a teacher: in years past, on the high school and university levels and now through Adult Education and seminar offerings. Her real estate expertise includes: Historic Properties (a Ph.D. in American Studies and an owner of a historic property), First Time Buyers, (numerous educational offerings) a Military Relocation Certified Specialist and a Senior Transitions Specialist. Many of her clients have remained loyal to her for decades as they move through their changing needs in the search for the next 'best home.' Her father was a carpenter and built the home she was raised in; her earliest memories include watching him build and create not just a house, but a home for his family. In her unique way, she is doing the same.

As a wife, mother and grandmother, she continues to rejoice in the gift of family and inclusion in the lives of so many she has come to call 'extended family.' Licensed as an Associate Broker in Virginia, the District of Columbia and Maryland, she serve her clients' needs throughout the metro area with uncompromised loyalty, confidentiality, integrity and the highest level of service.
