We've been working with Diane for close to a year now as she helps us through our hunt for an investment. Having never done this before and being fairly cautious as well, Diane has been wonderfully patient, the perfect mix of encouraging, confidence building through her expertise and laid back which really allowed us to find something we were very happy with.
She is clearly an expert in her field and was always willing to talk through her own personal experiences of investment, give us a lot of valuable advice on what we should be thinking about and connected us with critical people (foundation experts, landscape, contractors etc) that we found to be just as trustworthy and reliable. Should note that she came very highly and personally recommended to us from a very trusted friend also in the same business and we would very definitely recommend her to others (and hope to work with her again soon!)

Almost six years after Diane helped me find this home, we've remained in touch. At the time of that purchase, I thought the price was... ridiculous? But with it being my first purchase, I put my faith in Diane. She would not have put it in front of me had it not been something worth considering. Now, not only was it something worth considering; passing it up as "over-priced" would have been a huge regret given how much the vast majority have been priced out of both the rental and housing markets, especially in this area she knew to be a good one. If I can rehash my original Yelp review of why I recommend Diane so highly -- respectful and fair treatment, market knowledge, professionalism, responsiveness, resourcefulness. And in general, she's just a genuine, good person and someone you will be lucky to know.

Diane helped us purchase our first home in 2011 and then helped us sell it recently in 2018. Diane was absolutely wonderful during both of these processes. She is a true expert at her job and is willing to share her knowledge and take the time to explain everything in great detail. She is highly efficient, always available and incredibly attentive to her clients' needs. We are 100% confident that her guidance allowed us to get the most possible out of our sale. Diane is also a very kind and calming presence during the stress of buying/selling a house. Thank you Diane! You are the best of the best!

Diane did an amazing job representing us on the sale of our home in Mountain View. She's experienced, highly professional, well organized, and detail oriented. She arranged the various inspections and the staging, put us in contact with a top-notch cleaning service, and launched a far reaching marketing blitz that resulted in high volume open house traffic and multiple offers.

We moved out of state just prior to our home being listed with Diane. Not only did she provide expert sales and marketing support for the sale of our home; she brought in our mail, watered the plants, and kept an “eye” on things in our absence. Her stewardship gave us tremendous peace of mind. Just days before escrow was due to close the buyers noticed a couple of items I had agreed to fix but overlooked...Uh-Oh! No problem, Diane called her handyman and arranged to have the items fixed the next day, allowing the sale to close on time. She just gets it done.

For most folks, selling or buying a home is the largest financial transaction they'll be involved with in their lifetime. As such, you want to be represented by a highly competent, hard-nosed, dedicated professional. Diane is the definition of these attributes and is amiable, caring, and “in your corner” for the whole process.

Altogether, it is a delight and a pleasure to work with Diane and we would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to sell or buy a home. Based on our experience, you will not be disappointed.

Diane was recommended to us by a coworker of mine. It was me and my wife's first home buying experience and Diane made it a great one! The process was clear, simple, with no pressure and we got the house we wanted. Diane clearly has been doing real estate for a while and it shows. She walked us through every step along the way and answered all of our questions. She was even able to recommend a financial institution for the loan who was equally awesome and trust worthy. If I ever have to buy or sell a house again I'm calling Diane.

This was the third house my husband and I bought, and the first time we used Diane. The realtors we used is the past were not worth repeating! To start with, she guided us through the sale of our home fairly painlessly. The house sold very quickly and for a good price. We were pleased. The process of looking for a new place to move was not as painless because we had not expected to sell our house so quickly! This is where Diane truly earned my loyalty. We looked and looked and looked. The thing that stood out to me is that Diane actually seemed to want to find the house that would be what we were looking for while staying within our budget. What a concept! We were pleased with her as our realtor and would not hesitate to us her in the future.

Diane is a friendly, professional and very experienced real estate agent. We have used Diane’s services on five occasions for both selling and purchasing properties. She knows her market well and is great about educating her clients on some of the intricacies that may accompany a purchase or sale. For example, she was able to assist us in the purchase of a complex foreclosure property sale for which we were initially outbid, but because of Diane’s thorough understanding of that type of transaction, we were able to secure the home afterall through a bidding opportunity that was only possible through the court system. I am confident in Diane’s experience and the helpful advice that she has offered us over the years that we have worked with her. Diane stands out from other real estate agents because of her expertise and conscientiousness. We feel very lucky to have worked with Diane.

I have known Diane Schmitz for over 20 years. She is the realtor who sold our home back in 2000.
Our home is located across the street from Mountain View high school and although it was beautiful, because it was near a school we had difficulty selling it. She sold it and got us a great deal. I recommend this honest, hard working, dependable, innovative beautiful woman to you for any sale or purchase.

Diane patiently took me to see investment condos throughout Silicon Valley. She did not pressure me and just adjusted what she showed according to my feedback. After two outings, she helped me make an offer, negotiated for several hours, and secured the property for me even though another bidder was offering cash. The investment has been profitable for me. Diane combines hard work with patience and good manners. She's the real deal.

Diane is amazing!!! She helped me find, buy, and sell my condo in South San Francisco. When she found it, I was shocked something like that was in my price range because I had found nothing of the sort before. And then, I couldn't believe our offer got accepted because competition was so fierce. Diane made BOTH of those things happen. A few years later I unexpectedly needed to relocate, so I called Diane back. I took all of her advice and ended up making so much profit that I bought a house outright in the location I moved to after paying all my debt back. My whole experience with Diane was nothing short of mind-blowing. Another thing that makes her special is she works in such a large range of the Bay Area. She actually has the expertise and experience to excel at that, which is pretty rare. A good realtor is instrumental to home buying and selling success. And Diane is the best. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

This is the third transaction that Diane has handled for us. She is so professional, trustworthy and focused that when we decided to sell our house, we went directly to Diane. She has great contacts who helped us get our house in tiptop shape before listing. When we were diverted by moving into our new home, she kept the process moving by helping us with the paperwork, putting out our trash, and handling the cleaning and staging of the house.

When it came to advertising, she covered all the bases: Facebook, websites, emails, virtual tours, MV and San Jose newspapers and mailings. Diane's Open Houses resonated well with the neighbors and potential buyers. She even baked cookies!

Diane helped me sell my house and buy my condo in the spring of 2010. She was invaluable. She had great recommendations for workers to help with getting the house ready to sell, she did terrific marketing, and handled the closings flawlessly. When looking for my condo she had extensive knowledge of the neighborhoods and helped me evaluate the options. I had multiple offers on my house which sold over asking. And she prevailed for me when my offer was one of many on my future condo. I would recommend Diane without reservation to both potential buyers and sellers.
