About Dion

D.P. Jefferson is a lifelong resident of Shreveport, Louisiana. He grew up in humble beginnings, the youngest of 6 children, living in the Allendale and Ledbetter Heights neighborhood. D.P. had a strong interest in Real Estate for many years and decided to pursue that interest after being laid off from Bellsouth Telecommunications in 2002. Unfortunately, while attending classes at Adams Real Estate Institute, he battled a health crisis that made full realization of his dream impossible. After being formally diagnosed with Sarcoidosis in 2004, it became necessary for him to focus on caring for his 3 young sons, 1 of whom is diagnosed as Autistic and Nonverbal, and his own health while his wife, Euronda, worked. During these years, D.P. was not idle. He began to pull out many of the recipes his mother entrusted to him and even developed her Old-Fashioned Tea Cakes recipe into a delicious and marketable product that can be found at Shreveport’s Farmers Market, local stores, and purchased from him directly. He also discovered his natural wit and humor was also marketable and began bringing joy and laughter to many as a Clean Comedian. The interest in Real Estate developed into a passion through these years and in 2020 he signed up for classes at Adams Real Estate Institute again. After classes being suspended due to the pandemic and he and his household contracting COVID-19, he completed classes, passed the necessary tests and obtained his Realtor’s license. In the last five years, D.P., The Realtor has learned a lot from the real estate transactions he has been blessed to be a part of and the clients he has been blessed to serve. The passion has grown stronger as he has seen dreams come true through Real Estate. D.P., The Realtor now has goals to build a Real Estate Team and make a huge impact in Northwest Louisiana and, more importantly, in his family through his business.
