Don has had 30 years of experience in manufacturing management and ownership in the furniture industry, a career that provided him and his family the opportunity to live in Ecuador and Brazil, among other places, servicing domestic and international customers. Thirty years ago, he and his wife, real estate partner and college sweetheart, Jan, and their two children, Jeff and Beth, returned to North Carolina. Five grandchildren later, they are still fortunate to work and play in what they consider to be one of the most beautiful places in the world.
