Doni Corcoran

Doni is a San Diego (Pacific Beach) native who was blessed to have grown up in a family of real estate investors, who believed in the power of real property ownership. The dinner conversations often revolved around such things as 1031 exchanges, up and coming neighborhoods, or the art of negotiation; and it all contributed to creating Doni’s current day expertise.

Doni’s business skills have been honed via a lifetime of varied and wonderful experiences. At one point, Doni’s passion for skiing took her to Sun Valley Idaho where she lived an exciting, fun life for many years. However, it wasn’t all cruising the slopes! As a licensed stockbroker, every day she executed a high intensity schedule working for New York Stock Exchange floor traders. Both passions required speed, determination, and a keen sense of awareness to one’s surroundings. Today that experience has translated into clear cut efficiency in her real estate career. Doni was also an interior design major, and this has augmented her ability to really recognize those diamonds in the rough during property searches. After buying and selling numerous properties on her own, she has translated all this experience into invaluable counsel for her clientele.

Along life’s journey, Doni met that “perfect” someone named Kevin and married him and into the military. Being a military spouse was exciting and rewarding as her husband’s career took them to locales everywhere. In the process they raised two wonderful children, Tommy, and Lauren. A couple of decades ago, they returned to Coronado to establish permanent roots and here is where they will stay because Coronado is their perfect hometown.

In her personal time, Doni is a true sports enthusiast. She has been an avid supporter of water polo most of her adult life (and what better town than Coronado for that passion)! Additionally, she loves tennis and plays both socially and competitively on teams in the local tennis leagues.
