Doug Tenenbaum has specialized in commercial real estate for nearly three decades, with a primary focus on land brokerage, site selection, and development advisory throughout Ohio. Since beginning his real estate career in 1993, Doug has participated in almost $1 billion in real estate transactions, representing developers, investors, landowners, and institutional clients in complex acquisitions and dispositions.
Doug began his career in residential real estate before transitioning into commercial and investment brokerage in 1997. By 2000, he had developed a specialized practice centered on land development, entitlement strategy, and site selection—a niche that remains the foundation of his business today.
Doug works almost exclusively on sites intended for development, where transactions often involve navigating zoning, annexation, entitlement, site planning, utility coordination, and municipal approval processes. He understands that identifying the right site is only the beginning of a successful development, and he helps clients evaluate the challenges and opportunities that determine whether a project ultimately succeeds.
His clients include master developers, national and regional homebuilders, multifamily developers, industrial and data center developers, retail developers, mixed-use developers, and companies specializing in skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, independent living, and affordable housing. He also represents a select group of long-term investors in the acquisition and disposition of investment real estate.
Doug's experience spans virtually every major asset class, including development land, commercial and industrial properties, retail centers, office buildings, multifamily housing, student housing, urban infill projects, self-storage, healthcare real estate, agricultural land, mixed-use developments, sale-leasebacks, triple-net investments, redevelopment opportunities, and other investment assets.

Doug earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, majoring in Marketing with an emphasis in Finance and Real Estate. A lifelong Columbus-area resident and graduate of Bexley High School, he lives in Bexley, Ohio, with his wife, Michelle, and their two sons.
