About DOUG

Doug grew up in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in NW Georgia. From the time he was big enough to carry a bow, gun or fishing pole, he was roaming the ridges and valleys in that region hunting and fishing. As a young man he recalls reading about the legendary hunting found throughout the midwest and seeing pictures of giant deer and beautiful farms. People could say he fell in love. Curt got involved in real estate early in his professional career. He would invest every penny he could save into buying and selling real estate, in hopes that one day he could raise a family on a nostalgic midwest farm like he had always dreamed about. His journey eventually brought him to southern Illinois where his family’s dream is now becoming reality. Curt met a man named Brandon Swartzlander a few years ago, who was equally passionate about real estate and hunting and a friendship was quickly formed. He is proud to now be a member of his team at Midwest Farm and Land. He has been so blessed to now be doing life with his beautiful family here in Southern Illinois and his goal is to use his years of experience to help others pursue their needs and dreams in real estate.
