We were living in another state and, in all honesty, we selected our real estate agent out of the blue. But WOW! We really picked a great agent with Duane Hayden. We flew into Tampa and Duane had a list of houses ready for us to view. We spent the entire day with him, then met him again the next day and looked at several more houses. Once we selected our new home, we flew back out of town. Duane handled all of our questions, helped us navigate the loan process and the selection of inspectors, and, most importantly, he kept a watchful eye on our new home and made sure that it was maintained by the previous owner until we closed on the property. Duane has been exceptionally helpful in answering questions, providing contacts, and making sure our all requirements were met in the closing process. What can I say, Duane sold my house in 5 days at the high price the house was valued at. He was friendly, professional and thorough. He answered all my questions quickly and was extremely knowledgeable about the market. Above all he made me feel comfortable throughout the process. We were moving out of state and had to leave our house, while we were gone Duane checked on the house and found a small roof leak. I have looked for a house in my budget since October and its now the end of May. Duane was helping this whole time, we have looked from finished to be careful when you walk on that floor condition houses. Duane was like a bloodhound looking out for me. He went far and beyond any other professional I have ever worked with on any project. Not only did he have the knowledge but my needs were on the edge of impossible and he adjusted to help me find the very best deal on the west coast of Florida. We had been looking at homes for several months and had worked with another realtor before contacting Mr. Hayden. We actually found him by accident when we called to get information on one of his own listings. That particular house had issues and he was up front and honest immediately. We liked his response and chose to continue working with him in our home search. I had felt uncomfortable with the previous realtor, but didn't realize just how much until we viewed houses with Duane. It was a completely different experience. His honesty, questions and practicality were very valued. He got down on the ground under houses to look for flooring issues with my husband. He produced flashlights from his truck when we viewed a house after dark. He was always early to every home showing. He investigated and sent us comp information before we made an offer on any home. His input and advice were very helpful to us. He is honest, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. In fact, if you have a question he doesn't know the answer to, he'll find out and have an answer to you with additional back-up information you didn't even think to ask about. I highly recommend his services. I could not have been more pleased and happy to accidentally find a wonderful realtor. We own a home in Tallahassee that is currently rented and have tried to persuade Duane to travel up and sell this home for us. Unfortunately, the commute is just a little too far.
