Greetings!
I grew up in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Computer Science from The University of Alabama. During college, I was first introduced to real estate, but I didn't pursue my Alabama real estate license as I moved to Boulder, Colorado, to kickstart my career in Computer Science. However, after a few years of enduring the cold weather, I decided to return to my home state of Alabama, where I took a software support position in Huntsville. It was there that I met my wife.
Eventually, I sought a change of scenery and in 1991 moved to the vibrant state of Florida, settling in the Saint Petersburg/Clearwater area. After my divorce, I raised my daughter and son in Seminole, Florida, where we lived for 33 years. My interest in real estate was rekindled during this time and I dedicated myself to studying the market in the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area. Alongside my growing real estate knowledge, I developed a passion for offshore fishing, spending over a decade spear fishing and line fishing in the Gulf of Mexico and Key West.
I also have a passion for golf and college football. Of course I love college football! I’m sure you didn’t miss that I went to college in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. ROLL TIDE! I stopped playing golf back in 2018 after a really bad knee surgery, but since moving to The Villages, I have started playing golf again and hope to get back to scoring in the mid-80s or better.
In 2022, my girlfriend of 10 years, Debbie, and I relocated to The Villages, Florida, where I finally embarked on my long-awaited real estate career. I began working in Property Management with a local company that specializes in The Villages short and long term properties. With extensive knowledge of the local market and a deep-rooted love for the area, I am now dedicated to helping clients find their perfect homes in this beautiful region.
