Recently Banker’s and Tradesmen recognized Edie as a leader in the real estate industry and presented her with a Women of FIRE award. In the 1990’s, she served on the Greater Boston Multiple Listing Service Board of Directors, implementing the groundbreaking statewide MLS andelectronic lockbox systems. Both are still in use today.

Although a resident of Massachusetts since 1968, Edie grew up in New Jersey in a family of farmers and developers. This perspective makes her sensitive to the need to balance preservation and growth. She is proud of her three grown children, who are wonderful human beings, and enjoys time spent with her six interesting grandchildren. She just loves her three “rescue” cats, all of whom have issues. In her leisure time, she enjoys gardening, antiquing, visiting local art galleries, and the coast of Maine.
