About Edy

Raised in Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood, Edy Ramirez developed an interest in real estate after watching his parents purchase their first home in their 40s. Their experience opened his eyes to how overwhelming the home buying process can be, especially for families who may not grow up with homeownership as a common topic of conversation. That experience inspired Edy to learn the business and help others better understand the opportunities available to them so they could pursue homeownership sooner and with greater confidence.

Edy earned his degree in Marketing from Dominican University and began his real estate career at just 20 years old. Shortly after becoming licensed, he purchased his first home at 21, giving him an early firsthand understanding of the process he was guiding his clients through. Since then, Edy has helped more than 200 families buy and sell real estate throughout the Chicagoland area.

In 2025, Edy founded The Edy Ramirez Group, a three-person real estate team with Keller Williams ONEChicago focused on helping buyers and sellers throughout every stage of their real estate journey. From first-time homebuyers and growing families to homeowners preparing to sell and investors looking for their next opportunity, Edy and his team take an educational and personalized approach to helping each client make informed real estate decisions.

Edy’s work has earned him recognition throughout the industry. Since 2023, he has consistently been recognized as a Top Producer by the Chicago Association of REALTORS®. He has also earned national recognition among NAHREP’s Top 250 Latino Real Estate Agents in the country.

For Edy, real estate is about more than helping someone complete a transaction. Growing up in a community where conversations about homeownership were not always common has shaped his commitment to educating others and showing families that owning a home and building wealth through real estate can be within reach. He believes every client deserves clear communication, honest guidance, and an agent who understands the importance of the decisions they are making.

Outside of real estate, Edy is a devoted husband and father-to-be. As his own family grows, his commitment to helping other families create stability, build wealth, and achieve their real estate goals continues to be at the center of his work.
