Elise Skellenger

Elise Skellenger grew up in Lake Mills, Iowa and moved to Decorah in 2008 to attend Luther College. At Luther she studied Business Management and Communications Studies. Elise has purchased three houses through Harman Realty and was very happy with the experiences! “I am thrilled to be a part of this company that takes such great care of their clients!”

Elise enjoys working with her clients - both buyers and sellers alike. "Buyers are fun to work with because I get to help them focus in on what really matters to them in their property search and then assist them in finding something that fits their needs. I appreciate working with sellers that have pride in the home that they own and are excited to find someone who will love it the way they did. Moving onto the next chapter in their life is different for every seller, so it is important for me to work with each seller on an individual level to make the selling process as painless as possible."

Elise got her Iowa real estate license in 2019, her broker's license in 2021, and is excited to be working with Harman Realty. “Decorah is such a vibrant community! I have loved being a part of it these last 15 years and look forward to continuing to help it grow.” She enjoys visiting the Winneshiek Farmer’s Market, quilting, knitting, and participating in lively discussions in the Decorah Public library book clubs. Elise is also the Chapter Coordinator of Project Linus - NE Iowa, and a member of the Luther College Women’s Club. She serves on the board for Friends of the Decorah Public Library and is a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Volunteer. “There is such a wealth of adventures, programming, and activities to be found in our region! It is so much fun to get out and learn more about the area we live in and the people that make our community thrive!” In 2021, Elise was hired to be the Creative Director of the Oneota Film Festival.
