Originally from New Jersey, over the last 30 years she has lived in various parts of the Bay Area, New York, Connecticut, and Hong Kong and has owned properties in many of those locations. Her experience of relocating not only herself but her husband and two children multiple times gives her first-hand experience with relocation issues and enhances her capabilities as a savvy and talented real estate professional.

For many years Ellen participated in fundraising and community events for her children’s schools both public and private. Once Ellen’s two adult daughters moved away, and after living 17 years in Oakland’s Upper Rockridge neighborhood, Ellen and her husband moved down to Lake Merritt for the walkability to BART and restaurants.
