Ellen Hanes

When you love what you do, “work” is the easy part!! Selling and purchasing a home is a big milestone in people’s lives. Understanding her clients’ and customers’ needs, plus a willingness to market and sell in communities on Long Island has been the hallmark of Ellen’s business. Prior to obtaining her real estate license in 2005, Ellen worked as a paralegal in two prominent New York law firms and as a one-on-one teaching assistant in the Locust Valley Central School District. Ellen has called Locust Valley home for the past 34 years where she and her husband have raised their three children. Ellen is involved with the Locust Valley Library having served as board President for 12 years and is currently the President of the Locust Valley Rotary Club. Volunteering on various LI Board of Realtors committees keeps Ellen current on the constant changing real estate market.
