We can’t say enough to recommend Ellen Pritchett and her key role in selling our house. She made it happen smoothly and confidently. Ellen possesses a wonderful combination of technical skill, knowledge of the market, ability to identify the gems in what makes the house, "oh so special", a professional demeanor that is best described as almost on the level of diplomacy as well as a kind, empathetic manner. On a personal level, she is as elegant as the homes she represents.

We had spoken with multiple realtors before selecting Ellen. What Ellen did from the start was identify the aspects of the house that truly would make it stand out in the market. She priced it accordingly (and higher than other recommendations) and it sold within a matter of a few days.

After decades owning our house, we had invested more than the cost of appliances in our home. We had an enormous emotional component as well. In spite of our decision to sell, there were moments when I welled up with tears. Ellen could not have been more supportive in acknowledging the emotional/sentimental aspect to the situation, asking if we were sure we wanted to sell and then proceeding to move the process forward once we said yes, we’re selling.

Once a buyer was found, Ellen continued to walk us through the next phase which were the inspections. While necessary for both sides, they involved scheduling/coordination and so it continued throughout! She gave this as much attention to each phase as needed throughout to the closing. She always listened and was always there for us.

We are so very grateful that we were fortunate to have worked with Ellen. We truly believe that she made this sale as good as it gets.

Ellen was a delight to work with! My husband and I were able to find a home perfect for our family and with Ellen’s help, our offer was accepted over others. She knows the Northern Virginia market like the back of her hand and was able to provide guidance to us with that remarkable knowledge. The seller’s agent even commented on his enjoyment working with her as she’s such a great communicator. If you’re looking to buy a home, especially your first, I highly recommend Ellen!
