About Eloise

Lake Norman is the place where people come to re-invent themselves. That's just what my husband and I did more than a decade ago. Out of a country full of choices, this is the place we picked - the first time in over 16 moves where I could choose.

I spent 20 years as a writer and journalist - for radio, TV and print. In fact, the first thing I did in coming to the area was writing for Lake Norman Magazine, various Charlotte Observer visitors guides, and Lake Norman Currents. I had to learn local history fast, and in the process, meet fascinating people doing interesting things. I published more than 75 articles & photos over the course of the first few years, so there are many stories I can tell you about this lake & the variety of people from all over the world who live here.

I love working with buyers who are choosing this area the way I did - simply falling in love with the lake and lifestyle. Journalism has given me the gift of asking questions, listening, and meeting deadlines - all of which you will need in the increasingly complex world of purchasing real estate.

I have bought and sold 9 homes of my own, and building my 10th, so there is a lot that does not surprise me!

Eloise was awesome through this process, and went well above and beyond to help my family buy property on Lake Norman. We do not live in the area, and when I asked her to check out this location for us, she even rode a jet ski over so she could see it from the water as well.
