About Emily

Emily wasn't born in the river Region, but she got here as fast as she could and has made it her home over the last 12 years. Growing up in a military family, living overseas after college, and moving with her young family recently from the Midwest back to Montgomery are experiences that have let her see the world and learn the value of community firsthand more than once. She found her favorite community right here in Pike Road, AL, where she lives with her husband, son, and a very spoiled Boykin Spaniel named Newt.

A former Montgomery school teacher, Emily has always nurtured a love for the arts and has a bachelor’s degree in Theater from Lehigh University. Her inherent creativity and sense of adventure have led her down an interesting career path from non-profit arts education in New Jersey to teaching Drama at Baldwin Magnet School in Montgomery, and then to a position as Events Coordinator with Century Church in Pike Road.

Emily thrives at New Waters Realty and on the New Home Sales Team combining two of her favorite things: creativity and people. Her excitement is evident whenever she is able to help families move to Pike Road and experience this welcoming community. When she is not working, you can find Emily surrounded by friends while volunteering with Century Church, helping the Pike Road PTA, serving the Montgomery Foster Parent Association, or enjoying her neighborhood with her family.
