I am a proud native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. I graduated from Pine Bluff High School with a 4.3 GPA, which landed me a full ride scholarship to the prestigious University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. At UAPB, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and graduated summa cum laude. UAPB also served as the meeting point for my college sweetheart and now husband of 14 years.
After graduation, I went on to serve the taxpayers as an Auditor for the Defense Contract Audit Agency for over 12 years. This is where my analytical and people skills were sharpened, as I worked with extensive financial data sets and numerous contractors across the DFW metroplex. Looking to gain more experience, I landed an opportunity with the General Services Administration as an Accountant, then Supervisory Accountant, and most recently Branch Chief over the Accounts Receivable Department.
With a sharp eye for detail honed from years in accounting, and a heart rooted in family values, I will bring a blend of precision and passion to the table on your behalf.
