About Emily
Clients are the cornerstone of Emily Shepodd's business. Whether they are in the process of selling or buying, she knows how vital it is to find an experienced to trust to help you achieve your real estate goals. When you work with Emily, your success is her priority. She operates as a true champion in your corner, focusing on strategy and sharing industry knowledge, market foresight, patience, and a willingness to take on the "heart stuff." Since her start in 2014, Emily has helped hundreds of happy clients carve their homeownership path; a position she views with deep gratitude. Emily consistently ranks in the top 1.5% of brokers nationwide and is 64th in the State of Washington by Volume.
Emily is a proud, fourth generation real estate. Her great-grandfather started his own brokerage firm over one hundred years ago during the steel industry boom in small town West Virginia. Since then, generations of her family have dedicated their careers to helping people buy and sell their homes from coast to coast of our great country.
Her personal love for the real estate profession was set in stone after selling homes in New York City. Over the span of four years, she worked on over 350M worth of real estate transactions as part of a top producing team. Since continuing her business back in her hometown of Seattle, she's been able to offer a fresh perspective and a competitive edge to her clients and was even able to increase her business in 2020 nearly eightfold. She provides her clients with an unparalleled level of seamless service from pre-list, to staging and then on to closing, specializing in working with buyers, sellers, and new development.
Having grown up on Seattle’s Eastside and since graduating from The University of Washington B.A. and (currently) Foster School of Executive Education, she understands the intricacies of this ever-changing and burgeoning city. As a homeowner herself, she knows how important it is to have wise counsel during the complex path to homeownership. When she is not working, you will most likely find her volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House, down on Lake Washington, or hosting a dinner party at her home.
