About Emily
Before embracing real estate, Emily enjoyed a robust, 18-year career in the fashion industry. As a Global Director of the Visual Merchandising Team for Eileen Fisher, she was instrumental in the development of new store openings. These management and leadership skills parlayed easily into a rewarding career in real estate that she says, “never feels like a job.” Emily loves collaboration and maintains a reputation for being approachable and casual but detail driven and down-to-business when the need arises.
Emily graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle and is proficient in interior design and helping sellers stage and prepare their homes for market. Previous clients still consult with her when they need someone they can trust to review their home renovation plans. Emily is equally nimble in helping buyers see the potential of prospective homes that may be diamonds in the rough.
Emily has solid business acumen at the negotiating table, courtesy of the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. She is proud of her listening skills, staying on the same page as her clients, and keeping systems in place so that “when curve balls come our way, we can easily bend in a stress-free way!” She prioritizes every client’s unique style and is committed to laying out clear expectations from the start.
Emily was born and raised in Walnut Creek and bought her first home at the young age of 23, her second home at 31, and her third at 34. She proudly sells homes at all price points in her hometown as well as Alamo, Danville, Pleasant Hill, Concord, Lafayatte, and Orinda. Clients value Emily’s extensive knowledge of distinctive neighborhoods and hidden gems, and she loves showing off this region’s bounty of renowned schools, restaurants, shopping, and outdoor recreational opportunities.
Emily and her husband, Brant, are fans of daytrips to local destinations such as Napa for wine tasting and Tomales Bay for oysters. With their son, Jack, they spend leisure time frequenting farmers’ markets, biking on the Iron Horse Trail, hiking in the region’s extensive trail system, and working on their edible gardens at home.
