Eric Black is a crown jewel of the realty world. Upon our first discussion I could not have been impressed but the more I worked with him the better it got. Eric is the consummate professional on every level and is very experienced and knowledgeable. He provided up front information about the added tax cost because it was an out of state seller.. Had he not mentioned it the tax bill would have been thousands more.

Eric is honest and doesn't mince words on the process, what his research indicates is a fair price and what needs to done to get top value. He is attentive and listens well. He responds quickly and kept all informed of his schedule. Eric is calm, supportive and always is on top of everything. He knows the region well. He inspires full confidence, and is a kind and caring person.

The sale of the house was on a tight timeline and Eric stepped up and made things happen quickly. The marketing campaign he pulled together was remarkable. To complicate things was traveling abroad when the house went up for sale. Eric provided frequent updates being conscious of time difference. The house sold immediately for well above asking price. It closed quickly and Eric stayed in constant communication in the process.

The whole process was smooth, and fast. Eric gets all the credit for that. After being in involved in many house sales over the years Eric by far is the very best!!

Eric Black is a top-notch real estate agent. My husband and I were fortunate to have him represent us when we sold our home and bought our new home. Eric is knowledgeable, patient, and has an awesome team working for him. Our situation was unique in that we wanted to list very quickly and also buy a home shortly after selling. Nevertheless, Eric and his team quickly facilitated every step of this cumbersome process. During the selling process he respected our pricing requests and had a great sense of what the optimal price point would be for our home in the current market. We had some bad luck with an unprofessional prospective buyer, but took comfort in Eric’s ability to represent us with great professionalism and respect. Eventually we went under contract and were happy with the sale. Subsequent to the sale, we were in a time crunch to then find a new home for us in Montgomery County, an area that is extremely competitive. Nevertheless, Eric and his team assured us that we will find the perfect house, and fulfilled his promise. Nearly every weekend, one of Eric’s team-members patiently took us to various showings for homes that we were interested in. It didn’t take long before we were under contract, thanks to Eric’s guidance and recommendations to us about how to make a competitive offer. He was very knowledgeable, yet never pressured us into a situation that we weren’t comfortable with. If it wasn’t for his expertise in the real-estate market, we would not be in our dream house today! We highly recommend Eric Black to anyone looking to buy or sell!

Eric did a super job of selling our townhouse in Columbia. Right from the beginning he gave us excellent advice as to work to be done to attract buyers. I was impressed by the fact that he was realistic in his recommendations and kept our costs to a level commensurate with the property. Once we had a buyer, Eric was patient and continued to give advice based on real estate knowledge we did not have. Questions were answered promptly and his assistant gave us excellent support. We will use Eric in the future when we need an excellent realtor who knows his business.

ERIC was patient and responsive. He waited almost year for me to decide what to do; he called or emailed almost immediately if i had a question. When i decided to List with him: he did an astonishing job of presenting my house on the internet, in open houses, and in providing feedback to interested parties. When "issues" were raised by would-be buyers he was realistic and helpful and in the end we sold the hose for a fine price with a minimum of hassle. I have put instructions in my will to seek Eric to sell this house "when I leave".
