My family unexpectedly became responsible for managing the estate of a relative, which included coordinating the cleanup and sale of a house that was in very poor condition. We were feeling overwhelmed with questions and anxiety over what needed to be done until we started working with Lynn and Eric. They walked us through every step of the process with professionalism, respect, and integrity, and helped make a difficult and daunting process manageable. They knew how emotional and stressful the situation was for us and was a tremendous advocate for us from beginning to end, ensuring that we were treated fairly and respectfully by contractors, potential buyers, and other agents.

In essence, he stated his personal value in the real estate business was to help people and to form life long relationships with his customers. I repeatedly saw him make decisions through the sieve of that value system. As his customer, we had some bumpy situations occur due to home inspections and some (imho) unrealistic home buyer expectations. Eric consistently remained level headed, kind, and was a fierce negotiator on my behalf. Eric is an amazing realtor! In 2017 we bought our home- we were the crazy people who looked at like 80 people- he never once hinted at even remote frustration. Instead he listened to our feed back and each round we got closer and closer to our house.

There were a few houses that upon seeing in person (he hadn't seen them before), he said in good conscience that he couldn't let us buy them - mold was definitely present in both.

We have remained in touch and as we make our house our dream home, he has offered us great referrals and continues to provide excellent customer service. If we needed to sell or buy, Eric would be my top choice!

We have had nothing but the utmost positive experience with Eric and The Purcell Group! Eric was referred to us about 10 years ago, when we decided to leave the city and start a life here in St.Charles. The area was foreign to us, and Eric was not only extremely knowledgeable about the area, but also the surrounding areas nearby.

He was patient with us, truly listened to our needs/wants and was always very responsive.

When we identified a home (which we now own) that was high on our list to view, there were some hiccups with the renter who was occupying at the time. Eric was able to navigate through those challenges, and stayed on top of everything to ensure we got in to see the home. We got in, looked at the home, talked about everything with him over dinner. A few hours later ... we made our offer. He has terrific negotiating skills, guided us through the process swiftly and within 24 hours, had our deal!

We have remained in touch with Eric over the years, and he helps us identify other potential properties. He keeps us informed of the ever changing market, and communicates intel that is of value to us regarding our home. We highly recommend Eric!
