Erica Swallow is a multi-million dollar producing REALTOR®, licensed in Massachusetts and Connecticut, and the Principal Broker and Owner of Swallow Real Estate.

Before founding her brokerage, Erica was co-founder and co-lead of the Turnberg & Swallow Team at Coldwell Banker Realty—the nation’s largest residential real estate brokerage and most-visited online real estate brand. The team combined 48 years of experience, represented more than 1,100 clients, and produced nearly $340 million in closed sales.

Having worked for top technology firms and media publications earlier in her career, Erica offers unparalleled marketing, advertising, and communications expertise to her seller clients, to best represent their listings in the market. Her listings have been covered in The New York Times and MassLive, among other places—and she regularly attracts out-of-state buyers through national ad campaigns.

For buyers, Erica offers a unique home search experience, which covers Western Massachusetts, Northern Connecticut, and Southern New Hampshire—she has represented clients on transactions in 30+ cities and towns, showcasing her breadth of knowledge across the region. Erica excels at data-driven pricing analysis and negotiation to make sure her clients get the best price and terms.

She holds an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management; a B.S. in Marketing from the NYU Stern School of Business; and an M.F.A. in Writing from Simmons University. She has written for Forbes, Fortune, and The Wall Street Journal, among other publications—and is an international speaker and author.

Erica is a Certified Luxury Property Specialist (LPS), Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist™ (CLHMS), Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®) and Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR®), with a particular passion for historic homes and preservation. She is an active member of the National Association of REALTORS®, the National Association of Gay and Lesbian Real Estate Professionals, the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS®, and the REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley, where she has served on both state and regional Boards of Directors. She holds At Home With Diversity (AHWD®) and Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) certifications as a REALTOR® focused on inclusive and unparalleled customer service. As an integral part of the Western Massachusetts community, Erica’s brokerage is a member of the Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce and Greater Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Erica serves as Board President of the Springfield Preservation Trust, as an Advancement Committee Member and Young Patrons Circle donor at the Springfield Museums, and as a Historical Committee member of the Forest Park Civic Association, having also served on several Springfield City Council committees.

Erica relocated to Western Massachusetts after discovering the history and beauty of Springfield and the Forest Park Historic District, where she owns a Victorian-era home. She is a proud cat mom, avid yogi and pickleball player, enjoys regional day trips, and never passes up a good tasting, whatever the food or drink may be.
