About Erika

Erika Okinga is a driven perfectionist who lives to deliver the best possible service. Erika, the mom, has raised a successful young man and has set records in managing investor-owned properties since 2007. Additionally, Ms. Okinga selectively assists buyers and sellers around the Las Cruces area. Erika has approached each of these opportunities with exactly the same approach: she won’t rest until she has learned the best way to do it and is relaxed only when the required skill sets are mastered.

In California, Ms. Okinga worked closely with several real estate appraisers. After moving to Las Cruces, she obtained a New Mexico Real Estate License in 2009 – adding a Qualifying Broker license, and SRS (Seller Representative Specialist) and RENE (Real Estate Negotiation Expert) designations. In 2015, the owners of the 1st Valley real estate group agreed that Ms. Okinga should open a new brokerage; and Morningstar Legacy was launched. Looking back, Erika reflected: “I have been working diligently on building a solid reputation for this business by selectively working with buyers and sellers in and around the Las Cruces area. Along with my sales expertise, I also offer over a decade of experience in property management.”
