Ernesto Perez is THAT guy! He knows the game and is genuinely invested in helping people find their dream home. He was extremely patient with me and took time to understand what I was truly looking for(even when I was confused). Through months of showings and walk-through inspections and fallen extended contracts, he kept me going and didn't let me lose hope. I would highly recommend Ernesto to family and friends looking to buy or sell in Philly. We met Ernesto as he was selling another house on our block. We mentioned we were thinking of selling but not sure of when. From conversations with Ernesto back then, I could tell he was a realtor ready to put in hard work for the buyers (and sellers) he was currently representing. They say that buying a home is an emotional purchase. Boy, aren't they right about that. I was looking for something sweet & small, and I knew just the apartment that I wanted. Or, so I thought. I reached out to Ernesto for help, and Ernesto promptly scheduled a time for us to walk the property. We all loved the high windows, the historic floors, the location, and well, the price tag. To have just the right space and charm in the heart of Philadelphia felt like a jewel to find.

Thus, I decided to make an offer. Ernesto walked me through all of the next steps in great detail. He offered strategies for how to come in on price, while still being respectful and aggressive. He brought comparable properties to my attention that would better support our offer. He walked me through the importance of conducting a proper home inspection and why every homeowner would be wise to schedule one. And finally, he introduced me to the non-frightening world of mortgage lending.

The long story short is that we found a great flaw in that wonderful apartment during our home inspection. (Thank goodness Ernesto recommended one!) I was disappointed that I had to go back to the drawing board (it was autumn, after all); however, from this very dilemma I came to understand why people become loyal to a particular agent.

Abraham Lincoln once said: "Whatever you are, be a good one." Well, Ernesto Perez lives up to this quote. He has the gift of patience. He knows when to give space and understands when to give pressure. He also has lighting fast communication skills! He is quick to respond to emails, quick to schedule showings, relentless in his pursuit of answers, and confident in his navigation across the real estate industry. Ernesto will keep your goals and best interests in sight at all times, even when we might lose sight our own, and he will always offer his honest advice when asked. When we were ready, he listened to exactly what we wanted, event when we changed our "must have" list part way through the search.
