Evan Matteo

As the broker-owner of Big Tree Properties, Inc., Evan Matteo represents buyers and sellers of apartment buildings in the Bay Area, and of primary and vacation homes in San Francisco, the East Bay, and wine country.

Evan is active with the SF Apartment Association and SF Association of Realtors, where he serves on the Government Relations Committee.

In addition to real estate brokerage, Evan develops and operates apartment properties in San Francisco. He has experience in income-property analysis, rent control, permitting, and construction.

Prior to his real estate career, Evan worked at high-growth enterprise software startups including Trilogy Software, an early CRM company, and Nuance Communications a speech-recognition company.

Evan serves on the Board of the MIT Club of Northern California and is a past-president of the Club. He holds degrees from MIT and Stanford University.
