Filly went above and beyond to make buying our first home as easy and painless as possible. When some minor repair work was identified during the inspection, she negotiated a credit into the contract. When we requested the certification for the septic system she coordinated with the inspectors and the repair company to ensure the system was certified by close of escrow. My brother--who also had a home sold by Filly Gaines-- recommended her to me. I was very desperate to sell. I was in a deep financial difficulty and if I couldn't sell the townhome I would lose it to the bank. I'm disabled, legally blind and lost my job. No money coming in except SS. Filly took immediate charge of the entire situation. She had lovely professional photos taken of the townhome and immediately published the home for sale. Within a couple of days she had a list of clients asking about the home. We immediately received several offers for an amount much higher than the listed amount. The home was sold and went thru escrow so fast that I am still in shock as to how fast it was sold. Within one month it went thru escrow and sold. I had only days to move out! I also want to say hat Filly is a wonderful person. She isn't just selling or negotiating your new home: she's kind, helpful, creative and extremely knowledgeable about all the real estate laws. I can't praise her enough and I highly recommend Filly to ALL of you who are buying or selling a home. She is honest and will fight and work for you tirelessly. I consider her a friend now. Filly was absolutely amazing to work with. First off, she's a fun person to be around. We enjoyed touring houses with her and getting to know her. Second, and most importantly, she knows her stuff. She answered every question we asked or she found the answer quickly if she didn't know. This was our first home purchase so we needed to be walked through the process. Filly was extremely patient in explaining everything. She was an invaluable resource. Third, she clearly was not pushing us to buy any house. Filly went above & beyond the call of duty in selling the apartments for my Father's estate. I live out of the country and could not be in San Diego for the majority of the transaction, but she kept me apprised several times a day via email or phone calls of what was happening. Filly also made it possible for me sign the necessary documents & paperwork electronically via the internet, obviating the need to travel back to San Diego.
