About Fred

I have over 35 years of sales and marketing experience. I understand the importance of having an advocate working for you and with you, whether you're buying, selling or investing in today's real estate market. Teaming up with the right person will make your experience more profitable, satisfying, and productive. I have an entire team of professional experts supporting me. I work with a limited number of property owners to help them effectively present and market their properties. I work with motivated buyers to help them locate and purchase the property that is right for them. I accomplish these goals for my clients with the least amount of stress for them and in the shortest amount of time. I have lived in New Jersey most of my life - the last 29 years in Lawrenceville. My wife works at a private school in the area. I graduated from Rider University in Lawrenceville and went back to Rider for my MBA. My wife graduated from Rutgers University. We raised our two daughters here and they both attended schools in the area. Our family has always been involved in the local community and as such, I am very familiar with the area. I use this understanding to help the people I work with make the best decisions they can when it comes to buying, selling and investing in real estate. I have been a tenant, a landlord, a first-time homebuyer, a longtime homeowner and a real estate investor. I have personally purchased properties for the purposes of rehabbing and re-selling, fixing and flipping, buying and renting, as well as buying and holding. I have also sold properties to first-time homebuyers, move-up buyers and investors. I currently own properties that have been completely rehabbed and are rented to families and to college students. I am a member in good standing of the National Board of Realtors. I am also a member of the Multiple Listing System (MLS), have my Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designations, and have received various awards from not only the National Board of Realtors, but also from my local board of realtors. It has been two weeks since my house in Lawrence was sold and my wife and I are packing up and cleaning out. Fred Gomberg guided us through the whole process, from the initial meeting to discuss current market conditions, listing price, conditions of sale and steps involved, right up through the closing. Fred helped explain the myriad steps involved with wetlands, private well and septic, and the mandated testing required for selling older homes.
Fred was always available by phone to answer questions and easy concerns, and his subtle sense of humor helped smooth the rough spots as the sale progressed. His consistent communication with the buyer's agent and with my real estate lawyer meant that decisions were timely and necessary paperwork completed. Overall it was a low stress and efficient process selling my house, and I thank Fred for making it happen.

Fred Gomberg (Berkshire Hathaway agency) was our real estate agent when we recently sold our house at Lawrenceville, NJ (July 15, 2025) and he also happened to be our agent when we purchased the same house 7 years ago! We could not have made a better choice in both instances as Fred was a thorough professional who take care of all details and was very supportive all throughout the process. Fred is an expert in the whole buying and selling process and has excellent market knowledge of the whole Lawrence, NJ area which he wholeheartedly puts to use on behalf of his clients. He also leverages his robust network and connections in the area to help out his clients in any way possible, which was our personal experience. You can always expect Fred to go above and beyond the normal service provided by a typical agent.

We could not have done it without Freddie Gomberg! Our parents moved to assisted living, and we had to clean out and sell their home in Pennington. Fred helped with everything! From listing strategies to helping with the inspection repairs, he went over and above to ensure that the property was sold at the right price and that closing occurred on a timely basis. We will definitely use Fred the next time we have to buy or sell a home!
