About Fred

I have over 35 years of sales and marketing experience. I understand the importance of having an advocate working for you and with you, whether you're buying, selling or investing in today's real estate market. Teaming up with the right person will make your experience more profitable, satisfying, and productive. I have an entire team of professional experts supporting me. I work with a limited number of property owners to help them effectively present and market their properties. I work with motivated buyers to help them locate and purchase the property that is right for them. I accomplish these goals for my clients with the least amount of stress for them and in the shortest amount of time. I have lived in New Jersey most of my life - the last 29 years in Lawrenceville. My wife works at a private school in the area. I graduated from Rider University in Lawrenceville and went back to Rider for my MBA. My wife graduated from Rutgers University. We raised our two daughters here and they both attended schools in the area. Our family has always been involved in the local community and as such, I am very familiar with the area. I use this understanding to help the people I work with make the best decisions they can when it comes to buying, selling and investing in real estate. I have been a tenant, a landlord, a first-time homebuyer, a longtime homeowner and a real estate investor. I have personally purchased properties for the purposes of rehabbing and re-selling, fixing and flipping, buying and renting, as well as buying and holding. I have also sold properties to first-time homebuyers, move-up buyers and investors. I currently own properties that have been completely rehabbed and are rented to families and to college students. I am a member in good standing of the National Board of Realtors. I am also a member of the Multiple Listing System (MLS), have my Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designations, and have received various awards from not only the National Board of Realtors, but also from my local board of realtors. Needing a fast sale of my father’s house due to his health decline and need for long term care facility costs – and with me being six states away – Fred Gomberg managed our house sale in Lawrenceville / Lawrence Township perfectly for our circumstances. I was warned about realtors who encourage you to overspend on repairs so that they reap the benefit of the sale, but Fred completely interrupted this narrative. Never having sold a house before, Fred was supportive in my learning curve, taking the time to explain each step in the process, offering balanced advice with regard to repairs verses as-is elements in the house given our timeline and needs. He responded quickly to any question I had by phone or email and never made me feel insecure about things I didn’t know or fully understand. I was not able to fly in to manage many of the inspections or services – and Fred stepped in to coordinate and be present when needed. It was a comfort that he lived in the area, knew the local community well, and had his own list of service referrals I could utilize in a pinch. He priced the house to encourage interest across two financial brackets, brought in a staging company to give the house the highest polish possible given some of the elements we chose not to enhance, and ran a weekend Open House series that generated incredible interest and multiple legitimate offers – well above asking price!! – that led to a contract the first week on the market. Moreover, he checked in with me on how my dad was doing each step of the way. A pragmatic realtor with heart – thank you Fred Gomberg!!
