Fred Newton

Fred grew up in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, NC. After attending Appalachian State University, he joined the United States Navy in the Intelligence field. In 1990, he moved to Hilton Head Island, SC where he was a golf professional for 6 years before starting his real estate career.
Over the last 26 years, Fred has worked in developer sales and new home construction along with residential and commercial real estate. From December 2015 – March 2021 he was the Broker in Charge for RE/MAX Island Realty. He made his move to Tampa, FL in May of 2020, excited to bring his vast knowledge and experience to help buyers and sellers with all of their real estate needs.
Fred has two daughters, both in college now who he is extremely proud of! When he is not working, you’ll find him enjoying a game of golf, playing tennis, working out and going to the beach.
