Fred Stevenhagen is one of those rarities; an executive talented in all three areas of the real estate business...analysis, brokerage and finance.
In 1972, after obtaining his B.S. in business administration with a major in Real Estate, Stevenhagen was recruited by Guaranty Mortgage Company of Nashville, Tennessee, where he participated in an extensive training program in all mortgage banking departments. Later, he was assigned to the land development division.

In 1975, Stevenhagen helped form Diversified Real Estate Services, Inc. As Executive Vice President, his responsibilities were in mortgage loan brokerage and real estate analysis, which included appraisal work and feasibility studies.

In 1977, the name of the company was changed to U.S. Equities Corporation and Stevenhagen was elected President and Chief Executive Officer.
