Gail Marie Detraz

Gail moved to the metro Atlanta area in high school. When she started looking at colleges, she went to Dahlonega and never looked back. She fell in love with the North Georgia campus and mountains. She attended UNG for a couple years then transferred to UGA, where she graduated as a “Dawg”.
The love of the north Georgia mountains has never left her heart and she has lived in the area for the last 20 years. Most recently, she came full circle by making Dahlonega her home.
After a successful career with two local healthcare systems, Gail has been enjoying her encore career in real estate. Over the last 5 years she made the easy transition from taking care of people with healthcare needs to taking care of people with real estate needs. Gail so enjoys helping folks and considers herself as a “matchmaker”, matching her client to a property that meets their needs. She is especially knowledgeable about the mountain communities in north Georgia as well as the towns down the “400” corridor.
Gail loves what she does, and she is passionate about finding the perfect real estate option for her clients. When she’s not helping her clients, she spends her time hiking, loving her hummingbirds or with family, Mike, her husband, her two children and her 10 grandkids.
