I swear Galen took me around to 10 different homes all on the same day, he is really chill in the way that he is there to answer any / all questions but won't be on top of you the whole time like other realtors are following 3 feet behind. I kind of like to explore houses at my own pace but maybe that is my own interpersonal issues, I don't know. Galen is what you call a "halfway back" with expertise from "up north," South Florida, and WNC so if you are coming from one of those areas he can definitely help answer any questions you might have.

This dude is legit the BEST. As first time homebuyers he was perfect, explaining everything and walking us through the whole process with so much warmth, patience, and compassion— and we ended up in a house we absolutely LOVE! Then later we reached out to ask about possibly putting the house on the market, and he was completely honest and transparent about the market potential in a way that led us NOT to list it. We *already* trusted him, but that experience just proved how much integrity he has— he genuinely cares about people and puts them first, even when it means not getting a commission! I cannot recommend him enough!!

Absolutely the easiest, best buying experience we've ever had. After buying and selling multiple properties over the last few decades, we decided to move to Asheville full time. The Haven team, from Galen to Emily to Mary and Charlene were absolute rock stars from beginning to end. Galen negotiated the deal and we were under contract in under 4 hours! Communication is the key to real estate, and not getting immediate answers when time is crucial can be super frustrating. This wasn't a thing with Haven. Galen and Mary answered everything quickly and with the needed information, and showed great patience for what I call "high anxiety buyers". Charlene kept the documents coming with clear instructions on what needed to be done, and always answered near immediately when we did have a question. All around, the team at Haven couldn't have done a better job. We'll be back when we add a STR as our next purchase. Thanks so much!

The first time we spoke with Galen, he immediately asked all the right questions in order to determine exactly what we were looking for. He took the time to get to know what we needed and helped us understand the many aspects of the broad area we were looking in since we didn’t have an exact town in mind. We had a wonderful experience working with Galen at Haven Homes Fathom Realty! We were relocating from MA to WNC and went through the whole process with Galen at our side! The day we flew out to look at homes in the area, Galen scheduled the day in the most efficient way possible, despite some of the homes being tricky to find and walked us through all the differences between buying a home in NC vs MA. He explained everything so well and answered all of our questions (as crazy as some of them probably were!). When things got chaotic, as selling and buying a home can be, Galen was always available to talk us down from the ledge and he handled all of our needs!
