About George

George Kohlbrenner moved to Sanibel from Medford Lakes, New Jersey in 1972. He owned and operated retail and wholesale businesses on the islands and planned, developed, owned and managed island commercial property. George held the position of Chief Operations Officer in two International Corporations and has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and Central America.

George is licensed in the State of Florida as a real estate broker and sales associate. He began his residential sales career in 1987 with PMR, the Sanibel’s first real estate office. George is an active member of the Sanibel & Captiva Board of Realtors. He is a past board member and director of the Sanibel-Captiva Lions Club and past president and chairman of the Board of Sanibel’s Housing Foundation and Community Housing and Resources.

George’s mission is to provide buyer contentment by finding the right property at the right price and seller satisfaction by marketing and promoting properties using the best tools available and introducing qualified buyers to each of the properties qualities.

An islander, developer and active community member for over 40 years, George can explain the value of each distinctive home and condominium, and demonstrate the advantages of investment opportunities. He understands the complex legal and permitting processes that govern the environmentally sensitive properties offered on the barrier islands.
