Last May at the beginning of the pandemic, my husband and I made the decision to start working with George. Because of how long it took us to find a house in this crazy market, George had been a part of every single aspect of our daily lives. He scheduled showings upon showings, he submitted offers upon offers…. It didn’t matter just how many showings we had or how many offers we made him submit. He took it all with a grain of salt, never made us feel like we were wasting his time. He showed us who he is as a real estate agent every. Single. Time. In no way did he ever fray from his honesty, his hard work, his constant follow-up. He eagerly displayed willingness to find out when he did not have an answer. Every house. Every piece of digital paper digitally signed. Every text conversation. Every phone conversation. For nearly a year we had him in our lives and now that we finally have the home that we want, we are kind of sad that it’s over. He is so involved and so personable that eventually he just becomes a friend. We HIGHLY recommend George as your local real estate agent. You will not be disappointed!!!!!

George was an amazing resource at all phases of the home purchase process. He helped us line up professionals (mortgage provider, attorney, inspectors) so we'd be ready to execute when we found the right place; was realistic about the homes that we should be looking at - keeping our budget in mind more than we did at times! - kept us focused on our priority/wish list at viewings; and was incredibly responsive and comprehensive during the offer process. George was with us all the way through closing and was just as involved on the last day as the first. We couldn't have asked for a better partner to manage such a hectic and stressful process.

When my husband and I asked George to sell our home, he quickly visited and provided honest suggestions for making our home look it's best for market. We followed his advice and our house sold in one day for above asking price! The video and pictures were astounding! They really put our home in a wonderful light. No grainy, cell phone photos with George!

George is a knowledgeable, patient, and diligent professional. He treated us with respect and made us feel as though we were his only client. He was always available to answer questions and help alleviate our worries or concerns. I know there are some realtors that take a lax approach after they secure a buyer or home for their client, but not George. After we accepted an offer, he continually worked hard on our behalf by staying in contact with all parties involved to keep the sale moving along, and actually helped us close the deal a week early!

We are so happy with how George handled our sale that we've asked him to represent us as buyer's and have also asked him to help my Dad sell his home.

He went above and beyond the call of duty to find a great condo, facilitate both the sale and purchase, and make sure their move went smoothly. This is the second time we used George. He provided such superior service the first time we bought our home, we knew we had to use him again when selling that same home eight years later. Not only was he there for us from beginning to end guiding us the entire way, but he sold our home 18K OVER asking price. He is funny, he is real, he is down to earth, he is extemely responsive and available anytime, he is ahead of the game, and he is extremely knowledgeable about the industry. Five years ago I worked with George to buy my first home, the experience was wonderful. This time my wife and I worked with him to sell that home. To say it was a success is an understatement. George worked hard to get our home sold. It included having a videographer take a wonderful video, a photographer take amazing photos for the listing as well as providing us with excellent updates through every step of the process. We ended up selling our home for more than asking price, what more could you ask for.

We are still in the midst of searching for our forever home but I know once we find it George will help us navigate a smooth and pain free closing. Thanks again for all the hard work you did for us George.

UPDATE: 10/7/20 - We ended up finding what most likely will be our forever home. From the inspection to the closing date was smooth. George ensured each step along the way where I needed to do something was acted upon in a timely manner to prevent delays. My wife and I love our new home. Once we are fully moved in we will have to have George over for dinner!

Selling a home is a very difficult process and we were please to choose a realtor who saw us though many bumps in the road. George Papageorge spent much time explaining all the things we had to do before our home went on the market, and then told us what to expect afterwards. We handed him our difficult situation involving our Mom's passing, estate governance, and our residing out of state. The house itself was caught in a worrisome time warp, not exactly ready for prime time. All this in the middle of the winter Holidays.

Our process of working with George began when my wife and I decided to move from NYC to Connecticut. We were actually randomly connected with George through a listing we found online. I’m so thankful that it was George we connected with.

Upon us reaching out to inquire about the property, George invited us to meet with him in his beautiful office. As first time home buyers, we had no idea what was involved with the process, and how to even begin. George took this first meeting as an opportunity to walk us through the entire purchasing process–from where we were right now, the whole way through to the closing table. What was even more helpful, is that George had recommendations of “the dream team”–which were other lawyers, lenders and inspectors he’s worked with before and would recommend we contacted. George having this first hand knowledge of everyone not only saved us a ton of time, but also made us feel so confident about the people we’d also be working with. I should say that there was also no pressure at all to work with the people George recommended, and we were happy to pick whomever was best for us. In our case, his contacts were all terrific though!

We spent about 7 months working with George, and we probably toured about 5 different properties together. Throughout the process George always kept us updated on new listings, and would immediately return any emails, calls or texts if we had a question for him. My wife and I sometimes felt bad that we would ask George so many questions, but George always reassured us that it was never annoying, and he was always more than happy to assist.

Once we finally did find the perfect house, George moved incredibly fast to make sure our offer was the first one in. To begin with, he met us first thing in the morning to tour the property, and then immediately filed our offer after we decided to go for it. His help and assistance didn’t stop there though. When we did our first inspection, George actually met us at the house and stayed on-site for the whole process. This was also REALLY appreciated, as George had great questions to ask the inspector, and was honestly interested in the quality of the home. It was another reminder that George was not just about getting us into any home, but wanted to ensure the home we liked was perfect for us. This hospitably continued throughout the rest of the process too, George joined us on follow up inspection meetings, and to appointments with our closing lawyer. Again, the time and energy George dedicated to us was so above and beyond what we were expecting. I can’t believe he was always so available and generous with his time, especially as I know he has many other clients he’s working with.

In the end, George guided us right through to the closing table–and we closed on our house a few weeks ago. However, our communications have not ended there. George, a lifelong resident of the area, has built an incredible rolodex of local connections. If you need a painter, George knows multiple people to contact. If you need a landscaper, George has names and phone numbers for the best people in the area. As a passing comment I mentioned that I wanted to plant an apple tree in my backyard. George (of course) told me he knew the perfect place to buy an apple tree.

In the end, my wife and I got so many benefits of working with George. This review is long because all of the above points I felt were relevant to mention, and to thank George for. After this process we not only feel welcomed to the area, but also feel like we know so many more people, based on recommendations from George. We also not only consider George to be a fantastic agent, but now also to be a friend. Thank you George.
